Dating back to the Kangxi Period (1662–1722), the plate features a "kingfisher blue" cobalt underglaze with chrysanthemum blossoms. This piece maintains a marine patina after being submerged in water for over three centuries before its recovery during a historical shipwreck salvage excavation.
